- Tax ID (NIF): B88801352
- Registered address: Selva 5 local A, 08917 Badalona, Catalonia (Spain)

Who we are and scope of this policy
SMOKERS is an artisan producer specialising in smoked meat and low-temperature cooking. Through the website https://smokers.cat we offer: a public product area for the end consumer (B2C), an area for companies and professionals (B2B) with an information request form, and a client area that provides access, subject to prior identity verification, to our management platform (Odoo).
We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD) and Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE).
What data we process, for what purpose and on what legal basis
1. Website browsing
Data: IP address, browser type and version, pages visited and cookies.
Purpose: to enable the website to function, ensure its security and, where applicable, obtain usage statistics.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in the maintenance and security of the website and, for non-essential cookies, your consent.
2. Information request form (B2B area)
Data: first and last name of the contact person, company name, Tax ID (NIF/CIF, if provided), email address, telephone number and the content of the message you send us.
Purpose: to handle and manage your request for commercial information, prepare and send quotations, B2B pricing and technical data sheets, and maintain the business contact arising from your request.
Legal basis: the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken at your request and, where applicable, your consent.
3. Client area (access to the management platform)
Data: identifying and contact data, access credentials and data arising from the business relationship (orders, delivery notes, invoicing). Access to the client area requires prior verification of your identity.
Purpose: to manage the contractual relationship with professional clients, process orders, issue invoices and provide after-sales service.
Legal basis: performance of the contract to which you are a party and compliance with legal obligations of a tax and accounting nature.
4. Comments and content you upload
If the site allows comments and you leave one, we collect the data in the comment form, as well as your IP address and browser user-agent string to help detect spam. If you upload images, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as other visitors could download them and extract that location data.
Embedded content from other websites
Pages on this site may include embedded content (for example videos or images). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you had visited that other website, which may collect data about you, use cookies and monitor your interaction with that embedded content.
How long we keep your data
- B2B form requests: for as long as the interest or business relationship continues and, once it ends, for the legally required periods; the data is then deleted or blocked.
- Client data: throughout the contractual relationship and, once it ends, blocked for the limitation periods of legal obligations (commercial, accounting and tax).
- Browsing and cookies: as set out in the cookie policy.
- Comments: the comment and its metadata are kept so that follow-up comments can be recognised and approved automatically.
Who we share your data with
We do not disclose your data to third parties, unless you have consented or it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation (for example, before the Spanish Tax Agency). To provide the service we are supported by the following providers, who act as data processors with the safeguards required by the GDPR:
- Website hosting provider: Hostinger.
- Business management platform (Odoo): hosted on SMOKERS’ own infrastructure.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
International data transfers
As a general rule, data is processed within the European Economic Area. If any embedded service or provider involves a transfer outside the EEA, it will be carried out only with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR (adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).
Your rights over your data
You may exercise the following rights at any time:
- Access your personal data.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase it when it is no longer necessary.
- Object to the processing or request its restriction.
- Request the portability of your data to another controller.
- Withdraw the consent given, without this affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
To exercise these rights, write to us at info@smokers.cat stating the right you wish to exercise and attaching a copy of a document proving your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, https://www.aepd.es) if you consider that the processing does not comply with the applicable regulations.
Data security
SMOKERS applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of personal data and to prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorised processing or access, taking into account the state of the art and the nature of the data processed.
Minors
The services and forms on this website are aimed at adults and at companies. We do not knowingly collect data from minors without the consent of the person holding parental authority or guardianship.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy to adapt it to regulatory or operational changes. We will publish any amendment on this same page, indicating the date it was updated.
